Banner's R50C MDR Controller
The R50C MDR Controller helps keep control of conveyors and other equipment in one system and gives system designers more efficient control of motor driven rollers using a PLC. Modbus® communication, two configurable I/O channels, and a 0–18 volt output provide precision MDR control.
Standard connectors for signal and daisy chaining motor power simplify installation of multiple motor driven roller controllers on a conveyor. With its compact sealed housing, the R50C can be used in refrigerated, wet, and other challenging environments.

Puls has released two new models of IP20 Power Supplies with IO-Link
Power Supplies with an IO-Link Communications Interface: CP20.242-IOL (1-Phase) & QT40.241-IOL (3-Phase). IO-Link provides access to real-time and recorded data which informs about the condition of the power supply itself and the mains power. Among many electrical operation parameters, event signals are available via the interface as well as a remote ON/OFF function and “Parallel Use” feature for load sharing between power supplies connected in parallel.

Banner's New Hybrid I/O Modbus Hub
Able to connect both analog and discrete I/O to a single Modbus hub, controls engineers can now more efficiently design remote I/O systems with the R95C Hybrid I/O Modbus Hub. It offers four analog ports and four discrete ports that reduce cost, wiring, and installation time in applications with a variety of I/O types in one area. Analog signals can be mirrored to other ports for retrofitting existing analog sensors or to add visual indication for efficiency. Up to four amps can be shared and passed through ports to power devices, such as lighting, without needing to inject extra power via splitter cables. Ports are conveniently located on the side, helping extend cable life.

Quickly and Easily Distribute I/O
Easily distribute I/O from a homerun cable with Banner’s new R95 I/O Junction Block. Field devices such as sensors, valves, and lights can be connected to one of eight M12 connectors. Power, ground, and shield are provided to each, while the I/O signals on pins 2 and 4 are connected to their own unique pin on the M23 connector or flying-lead cable exiting the block. This allows users to terminate power, ground, and shield in their control panel along with each I/O point, saving them from making complex wiring junctions or building their own boxes. Whether you use the 19-pin M23 connector or flying lead cable, the shield pin or wire is available to use; flying lead models come with wires pre-stripped and tinned for faster installation. The overmolded, IP67-rated body provides resistance to most industrial environments, while the side-exit ports offer an alternative to common top-exit ports for simplified cable routing. The R95 I/O Junction Block can distribute up to 8 amps to all ports. PNP models have diagnostic LEDs for both power and I/O signal status for simplified troubleshooting. Models without LEDs can handle both discrete and analog I/O types.

Two input/output ports can capture and convert incoming analog current or voltage signals to Modbus, and also drive analog outputs for system design flexibility.
